This Head Post Office was once very very important place (second only to the General Post Office at 1st Line Beach Road ) to rush to this spot for last time late clearance of Letters / Envelope by 2000 hrs when we miss our posts in the neighbourhood clearance by 1700 hrs or less. Posting of Registered Post / even ordinary post at this Post Office will ensure delivery by Mail / Air mail by the next working day. Now this is achieved by a system called Speed Post by the Post offices. This is also losing the importance as the email replaced every communication except the Original Legal / Signed Documents. All our teachers and non teaching staff fondly remember youll and would love to see what fine young men and women you’ll have turned out to be. Hi Beryl it’s sweet that you remember your school and your formative years. We cherish the memories of the school and all you wonderful kids who passed through the portals of our school. Though Mrs Lippert is very old by God’s Grace she is still very much a part of the school as it’s foundress and owner. Most teaching staff are still with the school and maintain their high level of energy and contribution. Today your Ma’am was planning the school year end activities and talking about the Mass and the fancy dress competition. Do please stay in touch. It’s been a rough two years. Initially tremendous joy when Ma’am and uncle celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary (Diamond Jubilee In September 2017) and then in October Uncle Lippert passed away and Ma’am has been pretty devastated. She is slowly but surely getting back that passion for life and living and it is undoubtedly the school and all you children who give her a reason to go on. So please when you are free do drop by and say hello to Ma’am. If she is not in the office when you visit ask Vinny Miss for her contact and give her a call. Hi Ganesh it’s wonderful to see that you remember the school. Mrs Florence Lippert, the owner is still in the school. Uncle Lippert passed away in Oct 2017. The school is still the same - A HOME AWAY FROM HOME - it would be nice to see you so when you are free pls do drop by. Mrs Martin is still Santa though she hobbles around. Vinny Miss is our headmistress. Bhanu Miss and Adrian Miss too are all still a part of this wonderful school. So please do come and visit us.
