    The ground is being converted into a hotel? Thats sad! There used to be so much activity on this ground especially during the weekends. Cricket, football, driving/riding lessons, jogging... Beautiful place it was!

    A Wonderful place in Chennai. I am a resident of Alwarthirunagar for almost 33 years now. Moved here when there were not many houses and our house was in mid of the paddy fields. What a huge change? Now I find no piece of land around. Too many sweet memories and happy to note that most of the early settlers are still residing here. No day I will move out of "MY ALWARTHIRUNAGAR".
