    There is no limit to the amount of garbage dumped on both sides of the Thoraipakkam Pallavaram radial road in spite of all the notifications in the press that all steps to prevent unauthorised dumping of garbage were being followed.There is not even one single responsible person in the government who has the guts to stop this unauthorised garbage dumping which goes on un abatedly round the clock.In addition to the garbage dumping,unauthorised burning of garbage is taking place every single day as there are a lot of rag pickers in thoraipakkam area who thrive on the money obtained from selling materials gathered from such garbage which they do every day.Unless strict rules are followed by all agencies there is no hope for the suffering residents in the areas around Thoraipakkam and beyond.
