This is No.1, Chandra Flats in 1st Cross Street, Nehru Nagar, Adyar. The title must be "Chandra Flats" which is more public-friendly instead of "swami house." Since it is an apartment anyone can not tag it under a private place. I would like to give a glimpse of how the description of this place could be. This apartment is one of the oldest in this area of Adyar, which houses 16 flats (16 families). It has got a good associative committee and meticulous has solved water woes in the summer in recent times. The secretary is Advocate Chandramouli. There are 8 double and 8 single-bedroom flats in this apartment. It is located in the midst of activity very close to all the requirements for a household, however, away from the hustle-bustle of the main-road and dust. Quite a serene place, chandra flats, is surrounded by Adyar Nature Cure Hospital on the East, Akshaya Homes on the South/South East, and Unique Apartments on the West. Kasturba Nagar Post office, Nehru Nagar electricity board office, State Bank of India Adyar branch, Marybrown eatery, Apollo Pharmacy, Dominoz Pizza and Pizza Hut, Maverick Gym, Health & Glow stores, the famous Ambiga Appalam Depot, Nilgiris Departmental stores, Spencers supermarket, Nalli silks, Archies showroom, Airtel landline office, HSBC, HDFC, and Andhra Bank ATMs, famous Odyssey (for all your stationary and gift needs), TVS and Bajaj showrooms and service stations, and Adyar bus stand are all just 100-200 mts away.
