    Dude, get a life!! How can a hostel function without electricity & water? Since you are a dude (Laxminkant - I believe you are a boy) how can you comment about the hygiene? You never saw the inside of the hostel then how can you comment? If the person who has given you the feedback was inside the hostel & felt that it was unhygienic then maybe she did not keep her room clean! People who don't care about personal hygiene should not comment about others. People with good hygiene will keep their surroundings clean even in the filthiest of environment. The owner increases Rs 100 each year which is reasonable. The owner is a good family, I stayed in this hostel for 4 years & my parents were never worried. If I was late even for 10 minutes my warden used to call me to check my whereabouts & if I was really late my mother used to get a phone call from her. Maybe, you had a bad experience but do not stereotype based on one isolated feedback, I can still gather 100 girls who will give you good feedback about McGan.

    I have been living in Choolaimedu since last 9 years after we shifted from Mumbai. It is a very calm place to live. It is exactly betweeen Kodambakkam, Nungambakkam Rly. Stn. Sky Walk Shopping Mall is about 3 KMs. and Vijaya Foram Mall is another added shopping Mall is about 4 Kms from here. There are many Masjids for the Muslims, Full of very old temples for the Hindus and lot of Churches for the Christians. People of all community live in peace and harmony. Kendra Vidyalaya Central School, Dada Schools and three corporation schools are here. It has two colleges.m, Loyola Collage for the boys and Meenakshi College for the girls. Plenty of departmental stores like, Relianace fresh, More, Hanifa departmental stores are there. Gill Nagar park next to the Kendra Vidyala school is worth visiting by all age groups of people. Lot of swings, Equipment for exercising, good walking paths with grass are laid. The whole park is surrounded by Huge tress under whose shades people while away their time. It has got two telephone exchanges. 1.Choolaimedu Telephone Exchange, another one at kodambakkam. Chennai Airport is just 14 Kms by road. and it takes 25-30Min by train to reach the Chennain Airport. Koyambedu Mofusil Bus Stand and Vegetable market is hardly 5 Kms from Choolaimedu. Pachappas College is 4 Kms from here. Chennai Egmore Rly station is about 6 Kms. and Chennai Central Rly station is 9 Kms from here. No wonder I love to live here in Choolaimedu. Please visit Choolaimedu once and enjoy the facilities one would love to have.
