    Retai eri as the name itself suggest "The Twin Lakes" but where the lake is gone ??????? shameless politicians encroached this lake and made gold out of it, i remember that i was educated at school that the lake district of tamilnadu is chengalput i wonder if this stands still cos there is hardly any lake or water body is left in chennai and chengalput. i only want to ask one question to the administators and the polticians concerned are you not ashamed?.

    The korattur lake was once pronounced for drinking water by the late CM MG.Ramachandran the present condition of this lake now is pathetic and not suitable for any purpose the lake is contaminated by the sewage water coming from aawin milk society and by the adjoining companies a handful part of this lake is encroached by the local politicians and rowdies no one conscious about this issue nor worried i wonder how blind we are towards such atrocities towards nature. now i want to ask this million dollar question will this lake be saved?
